"Just a few pictures of our first night in Beijing. Allie & Em are already sleeping and I'm soon to follow. After we checked in we walked to the Carrefour store...yeah crazy. For those of you in South Texas, think Neuvo Laredo only more crowded and much louder!
This Sushi stand is inside near the check out stands and the lady with the red scarf on her head is yelling constantly. I guess she's saying "Sushi, get your sushi here!".
We did find our bottled water and let Emily pick out a few snacks. You can probably guess two of the cookies and the other is like a lemon tea cookie. Em says they taste like regular Oreo's and Chips Ahoy and the lemon cookies were tasty.
Across the street is a KFC and we tried that for dinner. There was a little confusion about whether we wanted spicy or not spicy chicken sandwiches. I'm so hoping we got spicy be mistake because this tasted nothing like regular KFC.

Oh...every time I see the pictures of people getting to china it makes me so "China sick"...I WANT TO GO BACK AND DO IT ALL AGAIN!!! Loving watching your journey!!! The best days are ahead!!!

Ah the Carrefour! That was the wildest place I've ever visited. I think you have to experience it to fully understand how nuts it was...
